I purchased this coffee maker about one month ago, after my 2nd Krups coffeemaker died. It dumped water out of the bottom. My previous experiences with Cuisinarts were equally bad.

I wanted a grind and brew coffee maker as I like to drink many different flavored coffees and enjoy the aroma and taste of freshly ground beans. The other brands of coffee makers were expensive and in the long run didn’t last over a year before developing problems.

I chose the Sanyo SAC-MST6 Coffee/Tea Maker due to the fact it is designed to do one thing…make coffee or tea, no fancy programing, clocks, coffee strengths etc. The bonus for me was the price!

This coffee maker makes delicious coffee and is a breeze to clean up! It brews quickly and so far every cup has been outstanding. Sanyo SAC-MST6 Coffee/Tea Maker with Built-In Grinder, Black

When I first got this coffee maker I thought I would never use the grind option. But it has since become my favorite feature. It also has a small footprint on the counter.

I like having my coffee freshly ground up but since I live in a small space, I can’t get more appliances than I need. This little coffee maker is perfect for me!

I was looking for a grind and brew coffee maker, but after reading a lot of reviews of ones that do both, I decided that I would prefer one like this, where the grinder is built in but not directly under where the coffee is brewed. It is an extra step, but after reading the reviews of the other kind, it seemed that the steam from the brewing would gunk up the grinder and that it needed to be cleaned more often, so I went with this one.

I love that all the parts are separate, so it’s easier to clean, and it is great to be able to brew loose leaf tea for iced tea without needing a separate machine. It brews the coffee/tea hot, but it has a guide as to how much water to use for hot coffee/tea, and how much to use for iced, so that you brew the right strength. I love that, since I love iced coffee and tea during the summer, and this makes it so easy to do both!

It comes with two baskets, one for coffee and one for loose tea. The basket just sits on top of the pot and is not attached to the machine otherwise, so it’s much easier to clean, and I love that the water reservoir comes out also, for the same reason.

If you’re just looking for a grind and brew machine for hot coffee, this may or may not be the best for you. But if you love to brew tea, esp. for iced tea, this machine has it all. I highly recommend it.

This is a small appliance that fits on the countertop very well. It is much smaller than the other name brands that have the grinder attached. It only makes about 6 cups of coffee at a time (which is all I ever need). The basket is cone shaped and fits inside the pot. The lid to the pot is not on a hinge and you have to take it off, along with the basket, to pour a cup of coffee or you might get grinds in your cup. This is something you have to get used to if you had the other type of coffee maker before. It doesn’t bother me anymore. I love the fact that the grinder is attached – although it can be removed very easily to pour the grinds into a container, or the basket, and to clean it. I had a coffee maker and separate grinder before and they took up a lot of space. The coffee tastes great and is done as fast as my last Mr. Coffee maker. I’m very happy with it.

I purchased this coffee maker about a month ago after my Mr. Coffee Grind and Brew finally died and I am pleased with this Sanyo Coffee Maker. Six cups of coffee is exactly the right amount for me. It is easy to use, makes a great cup of hot coffee and easy to prepare coffee and tea especially with the removeable water tank. I grind the coffee and fill up the water tank the night before and just turn it on in the morning; I have coffee in about 6-8 minutes. It also very easy to clean and I do not have that awful coffee residue I had with my old Grind and Brew. I highly recommend this coffee maker!

I am very happy I bought this. Works great and no mess, like regular drip coffee makers. Very easy to clean and use. haven’t used the grinder yet, but seems very easy and handy. Only negative is you have to remove the filter tray before pouring coffee, but that design is also what keeps the machine clean.

I had a very fancy coffee maker that I had received as a wedding present that ground the beans and brewed automatically (Cuisinart) that I loved but did always seem clumsy/dirty and finally petered out after a year. After searching and searching on Amazon and reading reviews, I settled on this one. It’s not very ‘cool’ looking, as others have pointed out, but that’s not very big deal to me. Everything is compact and seems to be much cleaner because all of the parts are detachable and separate. After about a week of use, the coffee pot stopped working. I tried and tried, but it just would not brew a pot of coffee. It would make the noises, steam the water….nothing. I’ve sent it back to Amazon and went ahead and shelled out the extra money for a pod style coffee maker (B60). I guess you get what you pay for?
