Taste like Plastic
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Tried 3 different K-cups from the sampler pack that came with the unit and they all tasted bad with a funny smell. Brewed just a cup of hot water with the unit and tasted it. YUCK!!! plastic!!!. Ran white vinegar through unit and let sit for 4 hours but it still tasted like plastic. Called Keruig and they if you’ve tried the white vinegar trick and it still taste like plastic you have to send it back.
So I sent the B40 back.
We have a B60 at the office and my father also has one and they both work fine so I ordered one of those. I received the B60 last night. Tested it with just water. YUCK!!!! Plastic again. Running vinegar cycle through unit today while I’m at work to see if that fixes it.
Very disappointing.

Don’t buy this machine!!!!!
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I bought a Keurig less than 2 years ago and it just died, by their own admission it should last longer but according to them the heating coil burned out and it is not replaceable. Their answer was to go buy a new one since their “warranty” is only 1 year.
Buy a more reliable product from a more reliable vendor!!!

Delivers a fast cup of coffee with minimal hassles
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
After using a few of these at various offices, took the plunge.
1) Delivers up a good, fresh cup of coffee in a hurry – no bottom of the pot sludge.
2) Enjoy the array of coffees, teas, cocoas available – as do our teenage sons.
3) Will probably not make a coffee connoisseur happy, but for a quick couple of cups with no waste…
4) Ideal for households with two or more coffee drinkers with differing tastes and preferences (It’s too strong/It’s not strong enough).
5) Amazon Coffee People 50-pack is about the least expensive option ($.42 per cup).

Keurig B40 Brewing System
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I am very satisfied with the operation and the ease in brewing a great cup of coffee each and every time. It has been fun trying the various types and flavors of the coffee that you may purchase for this brewer. The K-Cups are a little expensive but it eliminates waste and there are so many varieties of coffee and tea available.

LOVE this coffee maker!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ll just come out and say it: I’m lazy. I love coffee in the morning, but I am the only one in my house who drinks it, and I only drink 1 (mayyybe 2) cups. Why would I mess with a drip maker, the grinds flying everywhere, the dirty paper liners, and a pot you have to clean out?
I am not a coffee purist. I do enjoy a pot of French press, of course, but I don’t think that’s the only way to make coffee. There are some fantastic K-cups out there that give you a cup of full-bodied, flavorful coffee. (Try Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve Extra Bold.)
This is quick, easy to use, and one of my very favorite kitchen appliances. It even has a removable bottom for my travel mug. Ingenious! Unless you’re drinking an entire pot of coffee per day, this is a GREAT investment! (And for the quality, it’s pretty darn cheap, if you ask me!)

Love my Keurig!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’m not a particularly AVID coffee drinker, but I do love the ease and consistency of this single-cup brewer. I owned a Senseo before this and consider the Keurig a HUGE step up! My Senseo leaked almost from the beginning and never did seem to make a decent cup of coffee (very weak). I’ve really enjoyed trying some of the various K-cups and have started looking forward to my coffee-time!

You may become a coffee snob too!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The ritual of grinding coffee beans in an attempt to brew a great cup of coffee is over. We were introduced to the Keurig at our son’s big birthday party and decided to purchase this B40 as soon as we got home. We no longer have to throw out a half pot of good coffee because we don’t drink a whole pot. We just brew what we drink! At Amazon the EXTRA BOLD k-cups are about 30 cents per perfect cup of coffee. Even fine restaurants can’t compare to the rich flavor. We are very happy.

Great buy!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We are really happy with our purchase, it heats up the water for a cup in about a minute, feels like less. Really great when you are in a rush to work in the morning, you can get your fresh brewed cup in less than a minute. The reservoir is great too, it allows you to make about 5 large cups. I definitely recommend this product.
